Over half of my sculptures are in private collections, not only in the Netherlands, but also in Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and New Zealand. Some works I specifically sculpted for my children and grandchildren, my brother and my sister in law, and those obviously are in their possession. Three works are located in the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Twenty two of the remaining sculptures in stone and wood were destroyed during the inferno on April 7, 2019 and these are depicted under Studio fire and Lost in fire. Fortunately, some sculptures were at home and together with new work, as far as it still available, these are presented under In stock ….
Many of my sculptures are/were winter hardy, not only stonework, but also some of the woodwork (those made of Acacia and Yew). They are intended to brighten up gardens; as the saying goes: "A garden is not finished until a permanent statue is catching your eye all year-round".
