Studio Fire
….. On April 7, 2019, a huge, blazing fire destroyed my studio and shattered 22 of my sculptures (27 items), my whole stone and wood stock, instruments, power tools, and all other technical equipment. Only a few pieces could be "rescued", as you can see on the right: from top to bottom opus 70 converted to opus 70 2.0, opus 41 converted to opus 41 2.0, and opus 12 converted opus 12 2.0. Fortunately, I soon found a new studio where I could start in July 2019, which ended my mourning period …..
